Data deletion

1. Delete your workspace yourself

A workspace admin can export the workspace and then request deletion from workspace settings. Deletion is delayed rather than instant, so an accidental click is recoverable: after the delay the workspace, its conversations, contacts, attachments and connected channels are removed.

Export first if you want a copy. An export is a JSON file of your workspace data and takes effect immediately.

2. Ask us to delete it

Email support@sajamaone.com from the address on the account, with the workspace name. We confirm within two working days and complete the deletion within 30 days. Nothing is charged for this.

We may need to keep a limited record after deletion where the law requires it, such as an invoice for tax. That record is the payment reference and amount, not the conversation.

3. Data from a connected Meta account

When you connect a WhatsApp Business account, Instagram account or Facebook Page, we store the identifiers Meta returns (account and phone number IDs), the access token, and the messages sent through that connection so your team can answer them.

Disconnecting the channel in Channels deletes the stored token and stops all further collection. Deleting the workspace, or emailing us as above, removes the messages and the identifiers we hold.

We do not receive, and cannot delete, data held by Meta itself. To remove the app's access at the source, open Facebook Settings and privacy > Settings > Apps and websites and remove Sajama One, or remove the app from the WhatsApp Business account in Meta Business settings. Anything you have already sent stays in the recipient's WhatsApp, on their device.

4. Accounts that only ever signed in

If you used Google or Microsoft to sign in and never created a workspace, the account record is your email address and the sign-in identifier. Email us and it is removed; there is no workspace to export and nothing else to lose.
