Terms of Service
The agreement between you and Sajama One. Written to be read, not to hide anything: what the service is, what we each promise, and what happens if something goes wrong.
Effective 16 October 2026 · Applies to sajamaone.com and the Sajama One app.
1. Agreement
These terms are a contract between you and Sajama One. By creating a workspace or using the service, you agree to them. If you use the service on behalf of a business, you confirm you have the authority to bind that business, and “you” includes the business.
2. The service
Sajama One provides a shared inbox that brings together your website chat and the messaging channels you connect, together with tools such as teams, analytics and knowledge-based answers. The features available to you depend on your plan. We may add, change or retire features as the product improves, but we will not reduce the core of a paid plan mid-term.
3. Your account and responsibilities
You are responsible for activity under your account, for keeping your sign-in method secure, and for the people you invite into your workspace. You must give us accurate account information and keep it current. You are responsible for obtaining any rights or consents needed to process the customer conversations you bring into the service, and for complying with the rules of the messaging channels you connect - including each platform's business and messaging policies (for example Meta/WhatsApp, Telegram, Discord, Slack and LINE) and keeping your accounts with them in good standing.
4. Trials, plans and payment
New workspaces may begin on a free trial. When a trial ends, you must choose a paid plan to continue using the service. Plans are billed in advance, monthly or annually as you select. Fees are stated at checkout and on our pricing page. Except where the law requires otherwise, fees already paid are non-refundable. If a payment fails, we may suspend the workspace until it is resolved.
5. Cancellation
You can cancel at any time from within the product; cancellation stops future billing and takes effect at the end of the current period. After cancellation we keep your data available for a short window so you can export it or change your mind, after which it is deleted in line with our Privacy Policy.
6. Acceptable use
You may not use the service to send spam or unsolicited messages, to harass or defraud anyone, to distribute malware, to infringe anyone's rights, or to attempt to access data that is not yours. We may suspend or terminate a workspace that puts the service or its other customers at risk.
7. Messaging, SMS and your gateway phone
Consent and opt-outs are yours. You are solely responsible for having a lawful basis to message each person - including prior express consent where the law requires it (for example under the US TCPA, EU/UK ePrivacy rules and Ghana's Data Protection Act) - for keeping records of that consent, for identifying yourself in messages, for respecting quiet hours, and for honoring every opt-out (a reply of STOP, or any other reasonable request to stop) promptly. We provide the pipe; the messages and their legality are yours.
Android SMS runs on your equipment. The Android SMS channel works through a phone, SIM and carrier plan that you supply and control, using gateway software you choose. Standard carrier charges on that SIM, SIM throttling or suspension by your carrier, signal coverage, and keeping the phone powered, connected and updated are all your responsibility. Sajama One is not a telecommunications carrier and does not guarantee message delivery, delivery timing, or read receipts on any channel.
Indemnity. You agree to indemnify Sajama One against claims, fines and losses arising from the messages you send, the lists you message, or your failure to obtain consent or honor opt-outs.
8. Your content
You keep ownership of the conversations, contacts and knowledge base content in your workspace. You grant us only the limited rights needed to host, process and display that content to provide the service. We claim no other ownership over it.
9. Our intellectual property
The service, its software, design and branding belong to Sajama One and its licensors. These terms give you a personal, non-transferable right to use the service; they do not give you any right in our technology.
10. Third-party services
The service connects to third-party channels and providers - Meta (WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger), Telegram, Discord, Slack, LINE, email and SMS carriers and gateway providers, and the CRMs and other tools you connect. Their availability, policy enforcement (including number or account bans, bot restrictions, app-review decisions and carrier filtering), pricing and their treatment of messages once delivered to them are governed by their own terms. We are not responsible for outages, policy changes or actions taken by those providers, and features may change or stop working if a provider changes its platform.
11. Availability
We work hard to keep the service available, but it is provided “as is” and we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Channel delivery also depends on third-party platforms and, for Android SMS, on your own gateway phone being on and connected. Scheduled maintenance will be announced where practical.
12. Disclaimers and liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses arising from matters outside our reasonable control, including the acts of third-party channels, carriers or providers, the suspension of your accounts or numbers by them, and regulatory fines arising from your messaging. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
13. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms or to protect the service. You may stop using the service at any time. Sections that by their nature survive termination - including ownership, disclaimers and liability - continue to apply.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ghana. Any dispute that cannot be resolved between us will be brought in the courts of Ghana.
15. Changes and contact
If we change these terms materially, we will give notice in the product or by email before the change takes effect. Questions can be sent to support@sajamaone.com.
